Work, Work, and more work.

Hey there.

I know you haven't heard from me in a while. Here's the thing, I've been writing. working on my new paranormal romance. My heroine Darcelle, is a woman going through changes.

What do you do when you become the thing you fear the most? What happens when you fall for your rival?

Poor Darcelle she has so much to deal with. After reading Rachel Gardener's post about making sure your character is proactive and not reactive I've been re-thinking Darcelle.

Oh well back to work.

PS. I've had a few things pop up in my personal life lately one on which was identity theft. The theft of my identity. And the other well We'll just say I wish it would be over and done with.

On the bright side my babies turned 4 and 10 respectively. They're growing up and hopefully I doing a good job.

Hugs

Words of Wisdom.

Do not let the muse become your excuse!

If she does exist, she respects perseverance!

I'm quoting the president of CFRWA. My local chapter President Lara Dien.

My contribution:
Remember Dorrie in Nemo? Well instead of, "Just Keep Swimming." How about? "Just Keep Writing." or whatever else it is you are trying to do.

Put one foot in front of the other and keep going. It's been my method to dealing with life and the obstacles fate or whatever throws my way. Trust me they have been plenty.

Meanwhile if you're a member of F F and P and have not signed up for 60 days to PRO. Take it from me it's awesome.

It's a beautiful day today. I'm taking a break from writing or at least I think so, I might change me mind later. Right now though Banana nut pancakes from first watch are calling my name. My sister in law is in town and we're going to brunch.

PS a friend of mine apparently just bought her first house. Congratulations J!

Hope you find reasons to celebrate. It could be anything. Five minutes of absolute silence. the crazy kids having fun in the back yard. Finishing a paragraph. Just be happy on this long weekend don't let anything get in the way of that. Hugs of support, happiness and anything else you need. Chudney ;)

Turtle or the Hare?

Which one am I?

Don't know. I know that I'm getting back into my groove, but I'm just taking it one day at a time. What type of writer are you? Turtle or Hare?

Take my poll. Leave comment.

Whatever type of writer you are, if you've taken that step. You know the one where you put words on paper try to have them convey emotion and make sense. The one where you attempt you transport you reader away from ordinary life. Here's huge pat on the back.
